Osmosis MD vs Osmosis Retail

 

 

Osmosis has launched MD Advanced Line Of Skincare Products For Licensed Professionals only. The MD Advanced Collection is Osmosis’s most powerful, potent skincare available which is only available via a licensed professional.

The MD Advanced line of skincare continues Osmosis’ focus on holistic and highly efficacious products and provides a direct line of communication between Osmosis and the industry’s practitioners, forwarding their knowledge of how to effectively address skin concerns.

The new MD line can be noted by the MD and black and gold packaging. Whereas the retail versions will be in the white and gold packaging and do not have the MD signature. There is a difference in formulation with the MD versions being stronger in formulation and containing some unique ingredients. The retail version will still be available to purchase on our online shop. The new MD range is available via consultation or for our clients already on Osmosis, please get in touch with us directly.

What’s the difference in formulation? 

Here we have briefly outlined the differences between the retail and MD version. But for more details please arrange a consultation with a member of our team, who will be happy to explain the changes in more detail.

 

Osmosis MD Polish 

Polish MD

This is an easy comparison has Osmosis Polish MD is exclusive to the MD range. Therefore, Polish is not available in the retail version.

Osmosis Polish MD combines the power of cranberry enzymes and lactic acid to offer gentle exfoliation. This is an antioxidant-rich mask delicately removes impurities while visibly refining, firming, and smoothing your skin for a luminous, radiant glow.

 

Osmosis MD Rescue Serum 

Rescue MD

The Osmosis MD Rescue has 20% more actives than the retail version. These additional added ingredients help boost repair, improve radiance and protect the skin from elemental stressors and blue light damage

Additional actives exclusive to Rescue MD are:

  • Guava Leaf Extract – Protects the skin from UV Damage, enhances skin firmness and contains anti-inflammatory properties
  • Schisandra Chinensis Fruit Extract – responsible for its skin-calming and restorative results as well reduces facial redness by decreasing cellular sensitivity to environmental and bodily stressors
  • Pseudoalteromonas Ferm Ferment extract – Helps retain moisture, increase fibroblast adhesion, and promotes skin regeneration

 

Osmosis MD StemFactor Serum 

StemFactor MD

 

Osmosis MD StemFactor serum has 25% more growth media than the retail version as well as containing additional actives exclusive to the MD version.

The actives are Blumea Balsamifera and Brachychiton, Acerifolius Flower and these help increase wound healing properties.

 

Osmosis MD Renew 

Renew MD

 

Osmosis MD Renew will be exclusively only available through the MD range and will no longer be in the retail range.

The formulation has increased by 20% in active ingredients. The Retinaldehyde has increased from 1.5% to 1.65% with the additional actives Ectoin and Dipeptide 6.

  • Ectoin – gently soothes, restores and balances hydration in the skin
  • Dipeptide 6 – assists with skin replenishment, stimulates collagen and elastin production.

 

Osmosis MD Catalyst 

Catalyst MD

The Osmosis MD Cataylst Serum will be 20% increased potency in ingredients over the retail version.  The retail version will no longer include the AC-11 ‘Cats Claw’ so the AC-11 ‘Cats Claw’ is exclusive to the MD product. The new MD version does include less AC-11 ‘Cat’s Claw’ over the old product as this helps with better absorption, less colour and less irritating.

 

Osmosis MD Replenish 

Replenish MD

The Osmosis MD Replenish will be 20% more active than the retail version. So, ingredient content are the same but the strength of these ingredients are different and increases the potency.

 

Osmosis MD Correct 

Correct MD

 

The formulation has increased by 20% in active ingredients. The Retinaldehyde has increased from 0.075% to 0.083% with the additional actives Ectoin and Dipeptide 6.

  • Ectoin – gently soothes, restores and balances hydration in the skin
  • Dipeptide 6 – assists with skin replenishment, stimulates collagen and elastin production.

Osmosis MD Remedy is another product exclusive to the MD range, so will not be available to purchase via retail.
