Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections are the most popular non- surgical anti-ageing procedure performed today around the world. It has been used safely and effectively in cosmetics for many years with long lasting results on expression (dynamic) lines of the face. It is the treatment of choice to help prevent and improve facial wrinkles and lines that are caused by repetitive muscle movement.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are one of the mainstays of non– surgical facial treatments used today giving excellent corrective aesthetic results ‘a refreshed and more youthful look’. Approval on certain dermal fillers by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration USA) has been endorsed for facial cosmetics since 2003.

Skin Resurfacer and Peels

Chemical peeling or chemoexfoliation is a process whereby a chemical substance or enzyme is applied to an area of skin to loosen and digest the glue like substance (intracellular glue) that holds dead and damaged skin cells together. By applying acids and enzymes dead and damaged skin cells are able to shed from the surface and help reveal new skin cells.

Skin needling or collagen induction therapy

This is a fantastic and very effective Natural Skin Rejuvenation treatment one that can be used on the face/décolleté and whole body. The overall aim is to optimise skin health by improving skin texture, increasing natural collagen and elastin. Dermal needling provides natural results, is associated with minimal risk, a valuable and affordable medical/cosmetic treatment. There is no limit to the number of treatments one may have.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a medical technique where micro-injections are performed into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm) to deliver healing or corrective treatment to a variety of conditions, targeting specific areas of the body.  This technique was developed by a French Physician Dr Michel Pistor in 1952 for the management of pain and vascular disorders.  Since then mesotherapy has evolved and become a popular effective treatment for medical and cosmetic conditions, particularly in European countries where it forms part of the medical training curriculum.

I had previously heard about Medifine from my partner and my experience was a revelation . Having seen the practice in operation it always impressed me as Jacqui’s approach was always professional. She is thorough, takes time to give explanations, discuss options and recommendations. At no time did I feel under pressure to proceed with a treatment. I enjoyed a comfortable and pain free treatment with tremendous results and continue to do so.
If you are looking for a great practice or like me specialist cosmetic treatment then I would have no hesitation in recommending Medifine.

After a lot of thought and research, I had a personal recommendation to visit Medifine to discuss two deep frown lines between my eyebrows. Before the initial consultation, I was extremely apprehensive and was unsure I making the right decision. On my arrival at Medifine, I was instantly put at ease by the warm welcome and during the consultation Jacqui’s professionalism, knowledge and advice made me realise I was at the right practice. The botox treatment was pain-free and after a few weeks I was amazed with the results and after a few treatments the lines disappeared. Fantastic, I don’t look as if I am angry all the time now! Medifine is a warm, professional practice that listen and you can trust. G.S | Female 60 years | Halifax
