How it works

EndyMed™ 3DEEP® Fractional Skin Resurfacing is a non-surgical treatment designed to dramatically improve texture, tone, fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating your skin’s natural processes. During the procedure small areas of epidermis are removed which allows new tissue to be formed. This is done using radiofrequency to generate intense heat in small columns. The EndyMed 3DEEP radiofrequency technology also acts on your skin by heating the skin at a deeper level, in the dermis, at an optimum level for stimulating new collagen production. The result is firmer, smoother, tighter and fresher looking skin. Because the process stimulates your skin’s normal processes it is safe for all skin types and produces natural, long-lasting results.

The procedure

In order to ensure the procedure is comfortable your practitioner will numb the treated area with a topical anaesthetic. The handpiece will then be applied to your skin, and moved across the treatment area in a regular pattern. The handpiece will deliver short pulses of radiofrequency generates intense heat, removing small, targeted areas of the epidermis. Skin under the handpiece will also be heated at a deeper level to help to stimulate new collagen. Your practitioner can supply a soothing recovery gel to help your skin’s recovery following the procedure. Immediately after you’ve received the Fractional Skin Resurfacing treatment you will experience some redness, which can last up to two days. You may also develop micro-crusting, as the skin cells renew and the resurfacing takes place. This can last for three to five days. We recommend the use of high level UV protection, such as a product from the Heliocare range, during and following your course of treatment to help protect your skin. Your practitioner will advise on the number of treatments that they recommend, but it’s normal to have a minimum of three treatments about four to six weeks apart. We would also recommend one or two courses of treatment a year to maintain the results.
