We have been looking for a make up brand that supports skin health. We source amazing skincare brands and we wanted a make up brand that was a continuation on from your skincare.

Skincare + makeup hybrid concept

Make up is used to enhance beauty and to many people is a joy to use. But what stood out to us was the science and active ingredients used in the brand, So you’re getting more than just colour/coverage — the idea is that it also cares for skin. We love their emphasis on protection against UV, blue light within their make up too.

Inclusive for skin types/ages

Their products are non-comedogenic, suitable for oily skin, mature skin, problem skin. Their make up targets all ages and skin types; we have tested the range and we all love the range and we range from 23 – 68 years old, so they have a make up product for all.

Et al. has been formulated so that it doesn’t look cakey, or feel heavy on skin, instead enhancing it while hydrating and shielding from environmental stressors.

Responsible / sustainable packaging & production

They highlight that their packaging is “responsibly produced”, “easy to recycle + reuse”, and refillable compacts and reuse friendly formats are part of their ethos. Which we feel is an important consideration for brands.

The brand states ‘When creating et al. we have tried our very best to be as responsible to the planet as possible, all the way from choosing our ingredients, to our primary packaging, to the way we receive goods into our warehouse. Responsibility to the planet is one of our key brand pillars.’

Their products and formulas do not contain any ingredient obtained directly or indirectly from an animal source.
